Modern Longarm Quilting Services

Longarm Quilt Services

You’re a part of the Pieced Pineapple Ohana. We will treat your quilt like it’s our own!

We specialize in modern, edge-to-edge, computerized longarm quilting. All quilting is performed in a smoke-free environment on an Innova quilting machine with Autopilot M3 computerized robotics. We can currently accommodate quilt backs up to 120” on our machine frame.

There is a minimum overall fee of $50.00 (including quilting and thread). Check out the FAQ page or send an email if you have any questions.

Rum & Cola Package

Simple E2E Quilting

It utilizes one (1) edge to edge simple computerized design! The Rum & Cola Package is lightly quilted with a density of around 3” or more between quilting lines. The lighter amount of quilting creates a very cozy quilt with a wonderful drape.

Daiquiri Package

Dense E2E Quilting

The Daiquiri Package utilizes one (1) edge to edge dense computerized design! It has a medium level of quilting with a density of around 2-3” between quilting lines. This amount of quilting provides the perfect blend of density to cuddle under or display on a wall.

Mai Tai Package

Complex E2E Quilting

The Mai Tai Package utilizes one (1) edge to edge computerized design that is as complex as it’s namesake! It has heavy quilting with a density of around less than 2” between quilting lines. A heavily quilted quilt is durable (think of frequent washings) and great for a bed. The tighter quilter also helps a wall quilt hang straighter.

French 75 Package

Semi-Custom Quilting

The French 75 Package utilizes 2-4 computerized design motifs, such as borders, multiple block styles, excluded areas of applique, etc. Let’s chat before you purchase this package to ensure we can achieve your ideas!

Thread

You have invested so much energy and money into your quilt top, and now it deserves to be quilted with the finest quality threads. We carry Wonderfil and Innovatech threads.

Batting

We currently offer Quilter’s Dream batting in precut packages direct from the manufacturer. You must have an additional 4” of batting for ALL sides of your quilt.

+ Quilters Dream Cotton - Our most popular! Colors: White & Natural. Select Loft available in sizes from crib to king size. Stitching up to 8” apart.

+ Quilters Dream 80/20 - Color: Natural. Available in sizes from crib to king size. Stitching up to 8” apart.

Available upon request: Quilters Dream Orient (luscious silky soft blend of silk, bamboo, cotton, and tencel), Quilters Dream Black (wonderful with vivid or dark colored fabrics), Quilters Dream Green (made 100% from recycled plastic bottles), Quilters Dream Puff (adds volume and definition to quilting without adding weight), Quilters Dream Wool, additional lofts and colors of Quilters Dream Cotton and 80/20.

Picking the right batting can feel overwhelming at times. Send us a message if you have questions about which batting will compliment your fabrics and the end use (wall hanging, cozy blanket, etc.) for your quilt. If we don’t have your preference in stock, we’ll order it in for you.

 

Quilt Finishing Services

Quilt Binding

Need your quilt finished ASAP?! Pieced Pineapple Studio can help with your quilt binding! Hate prepping binding, but love to hand sew it on? No problem! Check out the various binding options offered below:

  • Partial - Binding machine sewn to front side only; customer will finish

  • Full Version 1 - Binding machine sewn to front and machine sewn to back

  • Full Version 2 - Binding machine sewn to front and hand stitched to back

Provide 2.5” wide binding strips 10” longer than the binding length of your quilt (2 X Width + 2 X Length +10” for margin). Alternatively, you can send 1 yard of your binding fabric and we’ll cut and press the strips for you!

Please note - bias binding options not currently offered.

Quilt Basting for Hand Quilters

Are you a hand quilter? We offer basting services!

We can baste in one or two directions for you so you can skip crawling on the floor with pins and get right to the good stuff. With this special service, we will reduce the standard thread charge cost and allow you to use your own batting.
